We provided six weeks of post-operative home care for a middle-aged client recovering from knee replacement surgery. Our carers offered mobility assistance, helped with physiotherapy exercises prescribed by the hospital, and prepared nutrient-rich meals tailored for recovery. In addition, we monitored wound healing, managed medications, and ensured the client’s home environment was safe and accessible. As a result, the client regained mobility faster than expected, avoided any post-surgery complications, and was able to return to normal daily activities with confidence.
